Every couple is different, so every wedding is different. We work with you to create the perfect program. Some customization options are below.

Dancers lead the bride and groom into the reception with music, color and energy. A beautiful way to open the night.

After the show we bring family and friends onto the floor and lead simple steps so everyone, of every age, can join in.

Three dancers performing within 45 minutes of Berkeley, CA. The price changes with the number of dancers, live music, travel and program length, so we’ll put together a quote that fits. Celebrating farther away? We travel often for performances.

About us

Ballet Afsaneh

We are Ballet Afsaneh, a Bay Area nonprofit that has presented the dance, music and poetry of Afghanistan, Iran and the Silk Road for decades. Our dancers have performed at hundreds of weddings, from intimate henna nights to grand receptions, and we travel for celebrations in New York, Los Angeles and beyond.

When you book with us, you’re also supporting a nonprofit keeping these traditions alive on stage and in the classroom.

How booking works

Four simple steps

    Send your date

    Tell us your wedding date, venue and what you have in mind using the form below.

  2. II

    We reply within 48 hours

    We confirm availability and send a quote based on dancers, program length and travel.

  3. III

    Sign contract

    We send you a contract to sign and ask for a 50% deposit to reserve the date.

  4. IV

    Plan the program together

    We finalize music, timing and space with you, your coordinator and your DJ.
